Blog

I’m Sophie, I’m over 40, married and I have a 6 year old son.

I have a right hemiplegia, following 2 strokes.

The words ‘à cloche-main’ do not exist in French. It is kind of a play on words. It’s similar to another saying ‘a cloche- pied’ which means to hop or do something on one leg.

A cloche-main is a blog to share my tricks as to how I do everything with one hand (almost… !), as well as how I use my disabled hand to help my left hand, hemiplegia or not. I will also share what has helped me with my walking.

Focus will be on fashion and beauty, cooking and home and leisure. I am trying to find useful and beautiful accessories.

Many thanks to Sonia, Ileen, Graeme, Anna, Les Filles and Etienne, my husband – without you this blog would have never seen the light !

I hope this blog will be useful to you all.

Happy reading !

Sophie
